AMERICA 250: MOUNT RUSHMORE FIREWORKS INFORMATION
We are excited to share more details about the July 3, 2026, fireworks celebration at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, one of the signature America 250 events. The State of South Dakota is partnering with the Department of the Interior and the National Park Service on this historic event.
As it was in 2020, the July 3rd event is a ticketed event. The public ticket lottery, hosted by Recreation.gov, will be live and accepting applicants from April 8-12, 2026. Lottery details, application information and FAQs are available on the National Park Service website.
Only lottery ticket winners will be admitted to the park and the event on July 3rd. Tickets are non-transferable. The park will close to the general public on the evening of July 2nd and remain closed all day on July 3rd.
It will be important to note to visitors: Mount Rushmore National Memorial will resume regular hours on July 4th with Independence Day programming open to all visitors.

If you are a member looking to advertise in the weekly Springtides e-newsletter, please send your event or advertising insert to our Executive Assistant and Media Coordinator Sarah Dalton-Theusch, at HSChamberMedia@gmail.com Please only send completed ads for insertion. Otherwise, your insert may not be included. If, (as an exception only) design work is required, a $25 charge will be invoiced and copy needs to be sent no later than Tuesday noon.

The more lead up time to your event the better! We can include your ad at any reasonable time before your event (Please, no longer than 6 weeks before.)
Member Highlights
The Chamber would be happy to highlight your business in the Member Highlights section. We ask that you create your ad in a 3x5 ratio (i.e. 3x5, 4.5x7.5, 5x8.3, 6x10). This is where you may advertise your hours, location, website and business description for an extended period.
